TTM Installation Examples

TTM provides examples with the installation. Some of these examples correspond to training exercises that are provided with the TTM course. The installation provides also the answers to the exercises.



As part of the TTM Help, there are two tutorials that lead users through the use of TTM and VGS. The tutorials include:

  • Flow control system
  • Automated Teller Machine (ATM)

Installable Exercises

The objective of the set of exercises is to cover the main topics provided in the TTM training course. The exercises should be performed from the most simple to the most complex.

One of the installed programs that comes with the TTM installation allows users to install course exercises. The default menu location for initializing the examples is:

Most exercises provide some form of:

  • Requirements
  • Interfaces
  • Behavior guidance related to the model

Some of the exercises include:

  • Requirement management
  • Model management
  • Test driver generation
  • Test execution against provided source code using the lcc compiler that is freely distributed
  • Test results analysis

Recommended Order

Some exercises build upon others, so the order can be important. The following is the recommended order for performing the exercise:

  • max_positive
  • ATM
  • Regulator
  • vertical_tracker
  • vertical_tracker2
  • vertical_tracker3
  • tracking_avoidance
  • traffic_signal
  • suduko3

Exercise Answers

There are solutions to each of these exercises provided with the TTM installation. The answers are normally located at: C:\t-vec\examples\ttm\course\exercise_answers.
